Justice in Motion

Justice in Motion is a physical theatre company making powerful, thought-provoking, visual theatre that tells stories about people affected by social injustice.

Their productions are exciting and immersive, blending dance, theatre, parkour, aerial acrobatics, film, and music to create unforgettable experiences. They captivate audiences while shining a light on stories and realities that often remain unseen.

Working closely with academic, business, and charity partners, they research each subject in depth to ensure their work is informed and authentic. Through their performances, they amplify the voices of those who too often go unheard.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR

The phone vibrates…a message…times, numbers, deals…and a warning. All in code. So young and so troubled. At home, in school, on the street. There’s no way out – is there?

CODE, Justice in Motion’s urban odyssey into County Lines and Knife Crime, is a spectacular blend of physical theatre, parkour and trials bike stunts with live rap and music. On an urban playground, skilled athletes and performers show what is happening to our young people exploited by organised drug crime gangs.

This story could be happening right now. See inside the County Lines through up-close, dazzling, adrenaline-fuelled, audacious story-telling inspired by true case studies.

Western Arts Alliance: Anja Meinhardt and Sonia Clark of Unicycle Productions will present a Live PITCH on Wednesday, September 9, at 4:00 p.m. in Oakland, CA.
